San Antonio makes Orbitz’ list of Top Travel Destinations

The Alamo City seems to be growing in popularity as a top spot to visit according to Orbitz, an online travel company.
San Antonio ranked number nine on a Top 10 list for Top U.S. Travel Destinations for 2012, beating Miami.
This is the city’s first time on the list and experts say a healthy balance of iconic attractions and restaurant and retail growth have made the city a top travel spot.
Using travel industry experience and booking data, Orbitz predicts New Orleans, which will host Super Bowl XLVII, New Zealand, and Charleston, S.C., to be destination hotspots for 2013.
